Beckwith and his AI Powered Trading Journey

Beckwith and his AI-Powered Trading Journey

When you meet Beckwith, one thing stands out immediately: his resilience.

His path into trading wasn’t smooth, but through perseverance, personal growth, and the support of a community like Chart Champions, he has transformed his life and career.

Now, he is preparing to leap into full-time trading, integrating AI into the process. But first, let’s hear his story and learn from his experience.

From “Easy Money” to Harsh Lessons

Like many new traders, Beckwith’s first experience came during the 2020 altcoin season. At that time, his strategy was limited to “buy and hold,” so trading felt easy: “Press the buy button, wait, and profit.”

Without formal education or a clear strategy, some early wins gave him a false sense of success. But when the market dropped, luck turned into a year of painful losses.

“I was basically gambling. There was no foundation, no skill. Just noise from social media and following influencers.”

The turning point came when a friend introduced him to Daniel’s videos at Chart Champions.

“Finding a path to profitability after building bad habits was hard.”

At first, Beckwith hoped for simple signals to copy, looking for the path of least resistance. But he quickly learned that lasting success required something else entirely: putting in the work.

Overcoming Obstacles

His journey wasn’t linear. For Beckwith, it isn’t possible to talk about trading success without first mentioning his growth as a person.

“Traits like pride and greed had driven my life. Breaking those down and replacing them with better character traits contributed heavily to my trading improvements.”

In 2019, he quit alcohol and committed to self-improvement. That decision carried over into trading, helping him develop the patience, humility, and discipline needed to succeed.

The First Step: Learning, Testing, and Tracking

For almost two years, Beckwith was fixated on Elliott Wave and Fibonacci alone, skipping fundamental concepts like market structure. This narrow perspective hindered his progress.

His progress was slow until he began studying and applying the structured learning inside Chart Champions and started journaling his trades.

“As I gained more visibility into Chart Champions and its methodology, I was drawn to the heavy focus on technicals. That led me from spectator to contender, then to champion.”

Beckwith emphasises journaling as a key factor. It helped him detect repeated mistakes and develop strategies to prevent them in the future. It also helped him transition from crypto to stocks and futures.

Today, Beckwith views Bitcoin more as a long-term hold, while ES and NQ offer daily consistency and opportunities.

For him, it was about taking the first step and doing it right.

At first, he watched the modules slowly, then gradually increased to several lessons a day. His practice was based on sim trading to test theories, then collecting statistics behind those trades.

Once journaling and statistics became part of his routine, the next step was focusing on psychology.

The Power of Routine and Psychology

Books like Atomic Habits, The Slight Edge, Think and Grow Rich, and As a Man Thinketh changed how he thought about trading, the sense of urgency, and the amount of potential in the markets.

Routine and focus are fundamental in the Chart Champions methodology, and Beckwith realised this, which helped him become more conscious of his actions.

“Coaches emphasised psychology, routines, and focus. I became aware of what I didn’t know, and through preparation, execution, journaling, and reflection, I started to gain competence.”

Blending AI into Trading

One of Beckwith’s unique edges today is his integration of Artificial Intelligence into his workflow. AI is his passion, almost as strong as trading. This year, he has been able to combine the two. It has become his trading partner.

“I don’t let AI tell me when to enter trades yet. I’m utilising AI to enhance various aspects of my trading process. It helps me prepare, analyse, and reflect. It gives me that extra 1% improvement every day.”

Here’s what a trading day integrated with AI looks like for Beckwith:

  • Daily Prep: AI generates the technical context of the previous day and key levels of the market profile, highlighting probability scenarios. It also creates context for correlated assets and brings in relevant economic news that could lead to volatility.
  • Order flow: His AI agent analyses ATAS screenshots in real time, providing context of the order flow and what he might expect based on the data. “It reinforces my own view or gives me new questions to ask.”
  • Journaling: AI agents also analyse patterns. “I upload my trades and let AI analyse patterns, frequency of losses, and trade relationships. It identifies one focus area per day for 1% improvement.”

A Vision Beyond Trading

In September 2025, Beckwith officially left his corporate career to focus full-time on trading and AI. But for him, trading is about more than profits.

“Trading has made me a better husband, father, and friend. It’s also given me the chance to dream bigger. One of my goals is to utilise trading to support elderly care, particularly for individuals with dementia or Parkinson’s. I want to make a real impact.”

Advice for New Traders

Looking back, his biggest piece of advice is simple: leave your ego at the door.

“Come into trading curious and humble. Use the coaches, ask questions, and be patient. You won’t master this in a month or even a year. Focus on quality practice, journal your trades, and always remember your purpose.”

  • For Beckwith, it’s important to enter the community and find a coach you truly resonate with.
  • Focus on disciplined trading practices to gain real value and ingrain the right habits.
  • Be patient. Do not rush into real accounts; take your time to develop your strategy through sim trading.
  • The psychology side of trading also plays a vital role.
  • For Beckwith, dedicating time to reflection and purpose was decisive. Asking key questions like “Why are you trading?” became central.

“If you don’t have a purpose, it’s hard to make progress towards a goal”.

Beckwith’s journey shows that trading success comes from discipline, patience, and the right community.
