Chart Champions Best Trading Setups

At Chart Champions, we love good trading setups. We don’t just trade setups with the highest confluence. Context is also essential, making it a key element that sets us apart. Daniel already explained how we can identify context, find confluence, and set a strategic execution in his latest X article.

You might wonder what a good trading setup is. In this article, we will focus on providing a brief analysis of the best setups at Chart Champions.

Remember that if you want to be part of these weekly analyses or learn how to build them yourself, Chart Champions is the right place to start.

What is a good trading setup?

A trading setup is a systematic analysis of financial markets to make well-informed decisions. This systematic approach takes us step by step to deeply understand the assets we are interested in.

A good trading setup resides in this step-by-step process. It is a combination of technical factors, rules, and specific criteria that guide our actions. So, a good trading setup consists of the following:

  • Technical factors: These are all the tools and indicators we use for our analysis. Once applied, they highlight the best price zones where confluences occur. Having two or more technical factors aligning is ideal and helps increase the probability of success for our setup.
  • Trading criteria: These help us evaluate and classify market context in terms of structure. Having a selection criterion for our setup increases the probability of success because not all setups work the same way in all trading conditions.
  • Trading rules: These emerge from data collection and subsequent statistical processing. Trading statistics are a fundamental pillar of a good trading setup. They help us establish solid criteria and objective trading rules tailored to each setup we implement.

Follow these steps for every new trading strategy you seek to adapt to your arsenal. Understanding the indicators to use, defining the best context, and gathering as much statistical data as possible will make your strategy extremely robust and give you the confidence to execute trades without hesitation.

And yes, this applies to everything from marking support and resistance levels (or supply and demand zones) to more complex strategies like the Swing Failure Pattern (SFP) or even when using order flow, which we have explained in detail in our blog.

Chart Champions Best’ Trading Setups

The best trading setups can come from any market, and that’s what we’ll showcase today in this compilation of some of the top trading setups we’ve shared at Chart Champions.

NVDA Trading Setup

Daniel has followed and traded NVIDIA for years. That’s why we pay close attention whenever he covers an analysis of this asset. In this case, we prepared for NVIDIA’s 2022 low, which was covered during a live stream for Champions. Since then, it has seen an impressive +1,000% increase.

Context and confluence

  • Extended downtrend.
  • Reaching key monthly levels.
  • SFP of previous key swing low.

Bitcoin Trade Setup

One of the biggest calls Daniel has shared was the short at $69K in Bitcoin back in 2021. Weeks in advance, his Elliott Wave count prepared us for a potential peak around this price level.

Context and confluence

  • Extended uptrend.
  • Bearish Elliott Wave count (High wave B).
  • SFP entry trigger.
  • Fibonacci extension targeting $69K.
Daniel Bitcoin Short Setup

Within Chart Champions, several epic trades are taken when opportunities arise. One such trade from Daniel was the short at the $106K level, taken during the Champions Live Trading stream.

The context of this trade considered the resistance with the negative 0.618 Fibonacci level, drawn from the lows of November 2022 to the previous all-time high of around $73K. This identified a resistance level at $110K for Bitcoin. This is where the lower-term time frame (LTF) aligns with the higher-term time frame (HTF).

We knew we were at resistance and near a psychological level. As the price formed a range, we noticed the range low was broken. After checking the order flow, we saw an increase in short positions.

By combining the HTF with the LTF and incorporating the order flow, we identified the highest probability trade.

Solana Trading Setup

Within the cryptocurrency market, we can find Altcoins like Solana, which gave us an A+ Setup—our favourite type of trade. We identified multiple confluences around the $169 price level and didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger once the opportunity arose.

Context and confluence

  • Break of previous consolidation.
  • Key levels based on the previous volume range.
  • Champions Channel Fibonacci level.
  • Anchored VWAP of the prior swing low.
  • Trendline.

Bitcoin Futures Trading Setup

Trading Bitcoin on the CME market opens up a world of excellent opportunities due to the large volume entering the market. At Chart Champions, we love analysing Bitcoin from an institutional perspective. This has led to some epic analyses and trade setups.

Context and confluence

  • Price in consolidation after an uptrend.
  • TPO key level, just below the range low.
  • Poor lows formed on the market profile.
  • Key level in confluence with Fibonacci 0.786.
